What counts as a query?
A query is any call to the search API — vector, full-text, or hybrid. Upserts and deletes are free. Namespace forks are free. The 100M free queries reset each calendar month.
Do I pay for storage?
No. ManyVector never stores your data and never charges for storage. Your vectors, HNSW indexes, and inverted indexes are written to your own S3, GCS, R2, or MinIO bucket. You pay your cloud provider directly at their published storage prices — typically $0.015-$0.023/GB/month.
What is the free tier exactly?
The free tier includes 100 million search queries per month with no credit card required. There is no time limit — it doesn't expire. You bring your own object store bucket; ManyVector doesn't charge you for the storage.
How does namespace branching affect pricing?
Forking a namespace is free — it creates only a metadata pointer, no data is copied. Queries against the fork count against your query quota at the same rate as the parent namespace.
Can I self-host ManyVector?
Yes. Enterprise customers can deploy ManyVector entirely within their own VPC or on-premises infrastructure. Air-gapped operation is supported — no internet connectivity required after initial setup. Contact us for licensing and deployment details.
What object stores are supported?
AWS S3 (Standard and Express One Zone), Google Cloud Storage (all classes), Cloudflare R2, Azure Blob Storage, MinIO, Tigris, Wasabi, and any S3-compatible store. There is no restriction on which object store you use.
Is there a data processing agreement (DPA) available?
Yes. A standard DPA is available for Growth customers on request. Enterprise contracts include a custom DPA. For HIPAA-regulated workloads, a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is available at the Enterprise tier.
